The HR Management Working Group at UFI - the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry works to keep the discussion of HR in companies relevant and predominant, making sure today’s main “people” industry remains a fundamental focus in the fast-paced and ever-changing modern working world.

Heinemann Management Consulting grows management team

On September 1, 2022, Daniel Kasper joined the Munich-based boutique management consulting firm Heinemann Management Consulting GmbH (HMC) as Managing Partner and Chief Operations Officer (COO).

He supports founder and CEO Robert T. Heinemann in the firm’s continued successful and accelerated expansion as well as the operational and strategic advancement of HMC. Daniel’s focus lies mainly in driving the expansion and further digitalization of HR services/HR outsourcing. Furthermore, he supports the small and medium-sized business clients of HMC as a Management Consultant.

Previously, Daniel was Managing Director and Board Member of an independent subsidiary of the Berlin-based Fintech Hypoport SE (SDAX listed). There he was responsible for Human Resources, Digitalization, IT and Finance, among other key tasks. Throughout his career, Daniel has gathered extensive international experience in the areas of Human Capital Management Systems, management consulting, and led large change management programs.

Full of excitement and anticipation, Daniel says: “There is immense potential within HMC. For years, the company has stood for quality and proven HR expertise. As part of our amazing team, I am proud to lead the development of innovative solutions for our clients.”

UFI HR Award 2021

Robert T. Heinemann, CEO of HMC, honours the winner of the 2021 UFI HR Award. Due to the pandemic, the highly topical theme of this year’s award competition for innovative HR management issues was “Effective Remote Team Collaboration”.

Heinemann Management Consulting has, for many years, been an associated member of the UFI – the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. In addition, CEO Robert T. Heinemann is actively involved as Vice-Chair of the Human Resources Working Group. Once a year, the HR Working Group presents the UFI Human Resources Award – an important award for the global exhibition industry.

“The pandemic worked as a catalyst and brought up the need for HR to do things differently” – Robert T. Heinemann, CEO of HMC, stated in an interview with the ‘Exhibition World’ trade magazine.

The wave of digitisation in human resources is nothing new, but since the beginning of 2020, the pandemic has been increasing the pressure on it more than ever. Like many other industries, international trade fairs have also been hit hard and forced to greatly rethink the previous business model and the associated employee competencies and its own HR processes.

Launch of the HRfx brand in the field of HR Services

The Munich-based management consultancy Heinemann Management Consulting GmbH (HMC) has launched the HRfx brand. It is helping HR services, which are growing in importance for many companies, to gain in visibility.

The consulting boutique has specialised in human resources since its foundation in 2009. In addition to classic strategic management consulting, the portfolio has also included the business field of HR services, which has had a robust operational character since 2012.

“In recent years, start-ups, as well as small and medium-sized companies, in particular, have increasingly been asking for support in their daily personnel dealings,” says founder and CEO Robert T. Heinemann. “We have been offering these companies professional and competent support for years as part of our HR services business field”, Mr. Heinemann added.

HMC has now officially launched the HRfx brand to give this increasingly important service area more visibility to the outside world. “Our goal is to give HRfx a distinct image and make our HR services even more widely known. This also gives our international customers direct and rapid access to information on our range of products and services.”
